Shinroji Kiyosue Old man (1855-1928): Ichiroji’s eldest son. The family business has been a wax manufacturing business for generations (planting Chinese hazel, and Roza began to produce blue wax and bleached wax (white wax)), and cultivation of a Japanese wax tree. Although he focused on cultivating dioecious plants, he also built his own mulberry farms and worked to spread the sericulture industry. He also devoted himself to the development of the local industry and economy, including the president of the Kyoritsu Takada Bank and the director of the Agricultural and Industrial Bank, while also focusing on the repair of reservoirs, the maintenance of irrigation facilities, and the improvement of rice production. In 1918, at the age of 63, he became a Member of the House of Lords (Large Taxpayer).
