The Aomori Prefecture Original Melon Production Liaison Council was established in 2010 by the Youth Department. In addition, while the shortage of successors is being criticized in various parts of Japan, it seems that he is doing it with the hope that he will give cultivation guidance to local agricultural high school students and get them interested and work on melon cultivation in the future. Every year, we give guidance on the cultivation of “Honey Golden Melon” from planting to harvesting and shipping to the first graders of the biological production department of Goshogawara Agricultural and Forestry High School in Goshogawara City, Aomori Prefecture, marking the time of 16 and 17 years.
